When it comes to getting ready for your big day, there are tons of things you can do to help cut costs. One is saving on stationary costs, by creating a fresh elegant look for your seating arrangements.
Instructions
- 1
Instead of writing out seperate place cards for each guest at your wedding use a computer to help you. Set it to print on landscape and you will be able to get 2 seating arrangments per sheet by cutting it in half. Use a soft color that compliments your wedding colors.
2List all the names of your guests in alphabetical order with a dash after each name and then write the table they are sitting at after the name. For example: Smith, Joan - Table 3. (see next step for creative table number ideas) Separate into alpha categories by adding the letter in bold and capital just above all the names that begin with that letter. Frame all sheets and display on a table at the entrance to your reception. Decorate the table with candles, flowers, confetti, etc.
3Be creative when it comes to figuring out table numbers. Name tables around your theme. If you have a sea themed wedding use names like dolphin, waves, sand, etc. If you have a woodland themed wedding use names like oak, dogwood, redwood, etc. You get the idea, be as creative as you can. It will make for a unique wedding experience for your guests.
