Jewelry Booth Display Ideas

Jewelry Booth Display Ideas

For jewelry designers selling their work at craft shows or attending trade shows, designing a jewelry booth that will effectively draw customers in and help you make a sale is essential. There are several simple tips that can help enhance the overall aesthetic of your jewelry display and attract more potential customers.

Lighting

Lighting plays an essential role is allowing the customer to see the jewelry clearly. While fluorescent lights will clearly illuminate all your pieces, they create an impersonal, department-store atmosphere. Mitigate this effect by using small incandescent lamps with beams directed at some of your best pieces to draw attention to them and provide a softer touch.

Mirrors

Have plenty of mirrors on hand so that your customers can observe the jewelry on themselves. Professional jewelry artist and author Rena Klingenberg asserts that once theyve touched it and especially once theyve tried it on, they start to feel a sense of ownership. And that translates into sales! Klingenberg suggests placing mirrors at convenient spots on your display table, to encourage customers to try on your jewelry.

Organization

A study by Columbia University business professor Sheena Iyengar showed that customers freeze up when faced with too many options; display your jewelry in an organized, uncluttered manner so that your customer can observe each piece without getting distracted.
